We want to help you make the most of your studying! Here is an explanation of how your scores are used to guide you toward your goals:
This includes the difference between the scores you enter and the scores dynamically shown as you progress through your journey.
Updating Your Plan: When you update the starting scores in your Study Plan, Acely uses those new scores to set your personalized goals and assign practice questions tailored just for you. In Acely, updating your plan can be done in two ways: you can delete the current plan and start afresh with a new score or update the existing plan, ensuring all changes reflect in your tailored recommendations.
Tracking Your Main Progress: The progress bar value you see in the main view will reflect the score you manually input next to the "Start" label. Your "Current Score" reflects the results of the most recent full-length mock exam you've completed within the Acely platform (which may differ from your official score). This helps you keep an eye on your official progress over time! The "Current Score" adapts dynamically, showing your recent progress and is distinct from the manually entered score used to start your study plan.
Because the SAT and ACT are adaptive exams, we need accurate data gathered from within the platform to adjust your focus areas and make sure the practice questions assigned are the perfect difficulty level for you. To keep your plan accurate and effective, we highly recommend completing regular full-length mock exams. This will give you the best insight into your areas for improvement!
This ensures that your progress tracking within the platform reflects your actual performance and improvements rather than relying solely on static, user-provided data.
