SAT Study Plan

Create your custom SAT study plan

Updated this week

When you first sign up for Acely, you'll be prompted to create a study plan. This is the best way to make a game plan for test day.

You'll be prompted to enter your:

  • Test date

  • Current Math score

  • Current Reading & Writing score

  • Goal Math score

  • Goal Reading & Writing score

  • Preferred day for mock exams

If you don't have a test date, a current score, or a goal score, don't worry! You're in the right place. We'll help you figure out your current score (by taking a short onboarding quiz or a full-length mock exam), and then we have resources to help you determine the goal score you should aim for.

Once you have a current score and a goal score, you can then see what point improvement you'll need to work towards. This will then help you figure out a test date (if you have flexibility on when you can take it).

We also highly recommend following the College Board's advice on taking the SAT at least twice if you have the means to do so. This gives you the opportunity to get a superscore!

After you've input all of your information, Acely will generate your custom study plan.

Next, you'll see both a Focus View and a Weekly View.

The Focus View will break it into tasks for completing practice questions, reviewing missed questions, or taking mock exams.

The Weekly View will break down what to do every day, starting from today.

As you study with Acely, this plan will automatically update based on your performance. If you take a practice test and you've improved, the study plan will reflect that improvement.
